Besides being multi-skilled I’m confident to say I’m proactive and creative in thinking and executing.

Thanks to my well-developed social skills and flair for clear, efficient, open communication with all members of a team, I’m able to function well and efficiently in a team and under all circumstances. During film projects I’m always able to establish good relationships with a broad range of people: team members, trackers, drivers, local researchers and specialists. In these situations my knowledge of various languages is a plus.

Pim Niesten, Wildlife filmmaker

Thanks to my untameable passion for natural history, resulting in spending a lot of time looking for, observing and studying fauna and flora in the wild, I developed very good eyesight and a sharp eye for detail, indispensable for wildlife filmmaking.

Finally, I’ve always been very creative. My painting and drawing skills and love for photography have blessed me with a good eye for light conditions, composition and aesthetics.

Whatever function or condition I’m in, I’m always extremely dedicated to and focused on the job at hand, with great attention to precision and detail. Blessed with a strong endurance and a good shape, I’m able to cope -both physically and mentally- with demanding situations and hostile locations, while always maintaining a positive attitude. The kick and rush of adrenaline I get when being able to deliver the desired shots and sequences is what keeps me going. This, combined with a strong endurance and resilience, helps me to push myself to the very limit, even in extreme and demanding conditions and situations.
