Jury member at the 2018 FINN

It is a great honor and a pleasure to announce that I'm selected to be a jury member of this years International Film Festival Nature Namur (12-21 Oct). After having won two awards at this festival: 'Best Cinematography' for 'Saguaro' in 2016 and 'Best Screenplay' for 'Megeti' in 2017, it's now time to grab a seat at the jury's side!

The FINN is a most welcoming and very entertaining wildlife film & photography festival that appeals to a very broad audience. Wildlife films of both professional and amateur filmmakers are screened in the cinema, a variety of nature activities are organized in and outside the town of Namur, photo exhibitions can be visited on beautiful locations throughout town (e.g. at the majestic citadel), meetings and conferences on various topics are taking place... It's definitely worth a visit!

For a couple of days I will be sharing a small screening room and watch around 40 films (carefully pre-selected out of more than a thousand entries!) and documentaries with the other members of this years jury. I'm very much looking forward to be wowed, inspired and moved by the work of fellow wildlife filmmakers. Let the games begin and the best ones win!
