Grand Canyon - Behind The Scenes

Over the course of the two years of filming I've been hiking up and down the Grand Canyon with my devoted camera assistants while carrying very heavy loads of camera equipment. Although the rewards were sometimes disappointing - the Canyon is not an easy place to find wildlife, let alone film wildlife sequences- I never gave up and enjoyed it very much. But for two weeks our ATARA film crew chose the easiest and most fun way to discover the Grand Canyon: by raft! We did some serious filming while floating down the Colorado River but I have to admit: we also had a lot of fun!
